Three Iranians nominated for Beach Soccer awards
Peyman Hosseini and Mohammad Ahmadzadeh have been shortlisted for the Best Beach Soccer Player and Best Beach Soccer Goalkeeper of the Year award.
The 50 nominees for the Best Player of the Year award, as well as the 12 nominees for the Best Coach of the Year award, have been unveiled.
Mohammad Hossein Mirshamsi has been also nominated for the Best Coach of the Year award.
The final list has been jointly built by Beach Soccer Worldwide and the Technical Study Group from this year's FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup in The Bahamas.
Both the Best Player of the Year and Best Coach of the Year awards will be handed out at the Beach Soccer Stars Night in Dubai next month (4th November), based on votes by coaches and captains of all national teams.
Iran finished in third place in the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Bahamas 2017, beating Italy on penalty shootout.
Hosseini, who scored goal of the tournament, won the Golden Glove as well. Ahmadzadeh also won the Golden Ball.
Mirshamsi, who parted company with Team Melli after the tournament, has a chance to win the Best Coach of the Year award after leading Iran finish third at the World Cup for the first time.
